With the world opening up, and a huge appetite in the sports community for participation in sport, Superfly Racing is very excited to help bring back the High School Race Series!
Mountain Biking is a healthy, active and safe sport that introduces high school students to unique trails while enjoying diverse, forest ecosystems. Mountain Biking challenges riders to navigate twisty fast single-track, technical climbs and gnarly forest descents with speed and efficiency.
About The Durham High School Race Series
The Durham High School Series is a grassroots race series designed to get new students into the fun, safe and healthy sport of Mountain Biking! This series has been around off and on for almost 15 years!
The series this year features 3 events to challenge high school racers – sorry, no elementary school races for 2022. The race series has proven to be a great introduction to the sport as well as excellent development for riders and school teams participating in the OFSAA sanctioned Ontario Challenge MTB Race – details to come on a possible OFSAA event for 2022.
(NOTE: Please note that all racers MUST be accompanied by their teacher or assigned school representative in order to race; per school board insurance requirements.)
Coaches with questions can email email@example.com
While the series is based in Durham, schools from all boards are welcome to participate. School cheques are accepted, either through mail or on-site.
Cheques can be made payable to:
Superfly Racing, 1033 Crawford Road, Bracebridge, ON P1L 1W8
Event Pricing: We have always strived to make this series very accessible, and even in the face of recent inflation the cost has only been marginally increased.
Full, 3-event series: $60
Per event fee, pre-registered: $20
Walk on (on-site) registration: $25 cash or cheque only
For Race #1 at Woodnewton, Go to 4849 Concession Road #6, Uxbridge, ON
